The body of representatives election week is finally here! Today, Wednesday, October 29th, voting will begin at 12pm, to decide who will have the highest decision-making power in the student union.
This year, we have a total of 41 amazing candidates from three different electoral alliances. This year’s alliances are from engineering, business, and social & health care students, and there are also candidates who are not affiliated with any electoral alliance or group. You can find a list of candidates and their voting numbers at the end of this article. At the end of this article, there’s also the candidate posters, from where you can find pictures from almost all of the candidates. (Note that there are two posters in total due to the amount of the candidates.)
Voting will open on Wednesday, October 29th, at 12pm and close on Wednesday, October 5th at 12pm. All members of the OSAKO are eligible to vote. Voting is done electronically: each member will be sent an electronic voting link to the email address registered in their Kide.app account, allowing them to cast their vote at a time and place that suits them best. Quite obiviously, you can only vote once.
We will also organize a little fun voting event in the OSAKO kitchen on November 4th from 12pm to 2pm, where we will offer the first 50 people who vote on site some free coffee and donuts. Election candidates have also been invited to the event, so you can chat with them if you haven’t yet decided on your favorite candidate. You are warmly welcome to join!
