The year will change soon, and that means that it’s also time for a new Executive Board!

The board appointed by the representative body is responsible for the day-to-day life of the student union. The board works especially for the development of education and the well-being of students. Board members, among other things, organize events, lead OSAKO teams, represent students in various working groups and take a stand on current issues concerning students.

The board consists of the chairperson, a vice chairperson and 4–6 board members. Checkout the current board and their specialty fields here. It is important to note that OSAKO board is so-called labor board, which means that the board members perform their duties of trust full-time and get paid from it. The pay is 500€ / month.

APPLY BY SENDING YOUR APPLICATION TO OSAKO(AT)OSAKOWEB.FI ON MONDAY 4TH DECEMBER AT 12PM AT THE LATEST, OR BY RUNNING AS A CANDIDATE AT THE ELECTION MEETING ON MONDAY 4TH OF DECEMBER.

More info about the application and work itself are to be found in the Finnish version of this article. To be able to be a part of the executive board you must survive in Finnish too – even a little bit.

The Body of representatives will hold its first meeting on Monday 4th of November, and in that same meeting the new executive board will be elected.

If you have questions, please contact the current Chair of the Board, Helena Hirvaskoski (helena.hirvaskoski@oamk.fi) or OSAKO’s Secretary in General, Tapio Korhonen (tapio.korhonen@oamk.fi).
