Let’s mark the ending of the academic year together with OSAKO, OYY and Evangelical Lutheran Church! Suvivirsi is a traditional hymn usually sung in graduation ceremonies at the end of the school year.
This year there’ll be two Suvivirsi sessions:
🌷 On Wednesday, 24th of May we’ll sing at Linnanmaa (Pegasus) at 2pm
🌷 On Thursday 25th of May we’ll sing at Kontinkangas (Medisiina) at 12pm.
At Linnanmaa event, there’ll also be coffee and cake for the first 70 people. Welcome!

Student Union OSAKO organizes pre-picnics every year during August. Pre-picnic is an event meant especially for new students, where you get to meet your soon-to-be classmates and tutors before the official start of the semester. In Autumn 2025, the pre-picnics happen on Friday, 15th of August, starting at 5pm. OSAKO’s, O’Diako’s & Student Association’s vappu (may day) week 2025 will take place on 22.-30.4., and include once again a whole lot of events from classics to totally new concepts – this is something you don’t want to miss! See the whole week’s program from here.
Ice-fishing is a traditional nordic pastime. We drill a hole to the ice on lakes or the sea or rivers, and then lure the fish into our baits! Election fair & panel at Kontinkangas
Come find your county- and municipal election candidates! At election fairs and panels organised by OYY, OSAKO and O’Diako, you can find out about the candidates’ and parties’ opinions and goals in the local and regional elections.
