The Going Abroad Grant is a 200€ grant intended for students going abroad for an exchange or internship. In return, the recipient produces content for OSAKO about their exchange as agreed, such as social media posts. The application period for the Going Abroad grant began today (April 15th) and will continue until April 30th, 2026.
We are now looking for an Oamk student who is planning to go on an exchange or internship in the fall of 2026. The recipient must be a member of OSAKO.
Content will primarily be produced directly for OSAKO’s own channels, not for the grant recipient’s personal social media accounts or other similar channels. A planning meeting will be held with the selected content creator before content production begins, meaning you don’t need to have fully developed concepts at the application stage. It’s enough that you have some ideas and are ready to dive in.
The appropriate amount of content will also be agreed during the meeting, but it’s not a huge amount of work -for example, when creating Instagram content, the typical number of posts has been around three.

Interested? Please email your application to OSAKO’s Communications and International Affairs Specialist at jennika.karppinen@oamk.fi by the end of April 30th 2026. Please use “Going Abroad Grant Application” as the topic of your email. The application is open-ended, but it should include the following information:
Name, contact information, and degree program
Where and when are you going for your exchange/internship? What will you be doing during your exchange?
What do you expect from the study/internship exchange? What are your goals?
What kind of content would you like to produce for OSAKO?
+Any existing Instagram or TikTok account or other social media profile that demonstrates your content creation skills
The grant recipient will be selected based on the applications, and the selection will be made by the OSAKO’s board.
