We are now looking for a new board member to take care of our education policy. As the person responsible of education policy, you will promote and oversee matters related to the quality and content of education, act as the voice of the students, and maintain contact with, for example, Oamk’s administration and faculty.
All members of the board are also responsible for the day-to-day running of the student union and its activities, working together with the staff.
The board is a so-called working board, meaning that serving on it requires significant time commitment, but it also comes with a monthly salary (except summer months).
The application period is now open and continues until May 6th.
How do I apply?
Please attend the meeting of the OSAKO’s body of representatives on Wednesday, May 6th, either in person (Valkama, Linnanmaa) or remotely. The meeting starts at 4:30pm. If you wish to participate in the meeting remotely, please notify the chair of the body of representatives by email at aino.m.kotirinta@oamk.fi. If you are unable to attend the meeting at all, please send your informal application by email to Aino. Email applications must be submitted by Wednesday, May 6th, at 12:00 pm.
Be prepared to tell us about yourself and explain why you should be selected for the position. If you submit your application via email, please include at least the information mentioned above. Please also note that you must be a member of OSAKO to apply for the position!
