Hey international student, would you like to have more local friends? Apply for OSAKO’s BFF-program by 15.2.!

OSAKO’s and Oamk’s BFF-program (Buddies, Friends & Families) is a project that aims to connect international and Finnish students in a relaxed and easy way.

Applying to program is simple: You just need to fill in our form for international applicants on 15.2.2026 at the latest. In the form, you tell a bit more about your interests and your match preferences – would you perhaps like to be matched with a whole Finnish family or just a fellow student? The Finnish applicants fill in their own forms. After the application period, we will match the applicants on the basis of their applications.

The rest is up to the participants: every match is free to engage in the BFF-activities as they wish. Studying, cooking, playing games, dancing, learning more about each others’ cultures…all of these are good examples of activities you can do together.

As an international participant, you can apply via a form found from here. You can be both exchange student or international degree student to apply.
