OSAKO’s Going Abroad -grant is a 200€ grant, in return for which the recipient produces exchange content for OSAKO. The application period for the Going Abroad grant began today, November 14th, and will continue until November 30th, 2025.

In this application round, we are looking for Oamk students who are going on an exchange or internship in the spring of 2026. The recipient must be a member of OSAKO.

The content will be produced directly for OSAKO’s own channels, not for the grant recipient’s personal social media accounts or other similar channels. A planning meeting will be held with the selected content producer before content production begins, so you do not need to have completely finished concepts at the application stage – it is enough that you are full of ideas and interested about content making, and that you have some idea of what kind of content you could produce. Please also note, that the grant recipient must be able to produce some content in Finnish as well.

How to apply

Interested? Send your application by email to OSAKO’s communications and international affairs specialist, jennika.karppinen@oamk.f, by November 30th at the latest. Please title your email Going abroad -grant application. The application is informal, but it should include the following information:

Name, contact details, and degree program
Where and when are you going on exchange/internship? What will you be doing during your exchange?
What are your expectations for the study/internship exchange? What are your goals?
What kind of content would you like to produce for OSAKO?
+Any existing Instagram or TikTok accounts or other social media profiles that demonstrate your skills

The grant recipient will be selected based on the applications by the OSAKO board.

For more information about the application process, please contact the communications and international affairs specialist. You can also find more information about the Going Abroad grant here.
